Hello all, This week I am doing a bit of an update, as I have been getting so many wonderful questions about where I am in the whole writing process. Goals met: Wow, 2017 is almost over, which is hard to believe! In regards to my writing goals, this year has been huge for me. The biggest thing was overcoming my fear of telling all of you lovely (terrifying) people that I’m writing a book!

So, here is a bit more about me and my writing :) What type of writing do you do? I write fiction, aimed at young adult (YA) and new adult (NA) readers. What genres and/or topics do you write about?

I am a nurse, a mom, a wife, a writer. I have actually been writing longer than any other roles on that list, but it’s the one least known about me. Why? Because I have always been super protective about this part of my life. Writing was a hobby for me, something I have always just done. It’s hard to explain the place writing has in my life. It has been an outlet, an escape, a way to process, an adventure, a struggle, a joy.
